Gender Based Violence

Gender-based violence, which includes physical, sexual, emotional, and economic abuse targeting individuals based on their gender, remains a pervasive global issue affecting people of all ages, races, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Health (SRHR, HIV)

HIV is the most lethal sexually transmitted infection; therefore, a lack of access to basic sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) increases a person's risk of contracting HIV.

Food Security & Livelihoods (FSL)

We aim to prevent famine and build households' coping capacities by providing life-sustaining and life-saving food, livelihoods and livestock assistance, increasing food production, and building productive assets for more sustainable livelihoods.

At WOJE, we believe in the power of community mobilization and the importance of standing up for women's rights. Our success record speaks for itself, as we have championed family law advocacy, anti-female genital mutilation efforts, and humanitarian responses in flood and conflict-affected areas.

Our organization was born out of a group of grassroots women, including survivors of GBV, harmful practices, women living with HIV, and women migrants struggling with identity.

that support fair, Responsive Gender focused judicial processes that promote women

effective participation in decision making and improved economic status of South Sudan women and Girls.
